Yelapa is a delightfully remote village, only accessible by boat. There are no cars or regular roads in the town, only cobblestone pathways for walking, carts, and horses.
There are zero banks or ATMs in Yelapa, so be sure to bring enough pesos! The best option is to withdraw pesos from an ATM in Puerto Vallarta. Most have a daily withdrawal limit of $500 (US) per day. Ci Banco will exchange up to $1500 cash for pesos. Know that there will be great souvenir shopping opportunities!
You will be responsible for your plane ticket to Puerto Vallarta International Airport, as well as your taxi ride to the Los Muertos Pier. From there we will travel together by boat to Yelapa. Plan your travel accordingly to arrive at the pier no later than 3pm on the 10th. More details and considerations for a graceful arrival will be provided upon registration.
